Physics

Anyone have one, or going for a degree in physics?  I'm thinking about making it my major, although I have very little background on physics itself, though I've got the math background (I hope XD). 

How is it?  Like I said, my experience with physics is very minimal, but the topics that it covers is very intriguing to me.

Why do you have to "shun human contact" in order to study physics?  I don't know how much greater the workload is in college, but a major is a fucking major...why should anyone care?  You still have free time regardless.
