Who's this guy?

so yeah long time ago I read some shit about some mathematician etc.

He had 3 theories or questions or something like that and eventually they were all solved/proven/disproven/whatever.

Anyways I can't remember any details but I'd like to know his name since I can't find the articles I read anymore.  Any ideas?

Well Fermat had a bunch of conjectures that mathematicians spent 300+ years proving or disproving.  Maybe whatever you were reading/watching picked out three particular ones to focus on.
