What he says is that he is continuing Einsteins work and dream and that they believe that they are at least conceptually close to an answer. He does not say that he is greater than Einstein.

Everyone should strive to knock that nazi down a couple of pegs. Einstein is not and should not be man's limit capacity of knowledge. I hope Kaku is smarter so the bar gets set higher, so someone else will raise it even further in the future.
