Math needed for relativity?

I would like to know a good textbook(s) that would prepare you for the mathematics of Relativity. I know topics like tensors, etc. are used.

Special or general?

SR doesn't require much fancy math; most of it is hand waving.
GR can get quite gnarly, but it's basically differential geometry without positive definiteness.
