In his paper "Space and Time", Minkowski derived that the principle of relativity implies that the speed of light is equal to i as DIMENSIONED numbers.  i.e.

300000 km = √-1 sec

So that time and length are really the same thing. 

Am I the only one who thinks there's gotta be something wrong with that?
