How do I find the (Cartesian) equation of the line between (1,-1,1) and (2,-1,-2)?

Well I can get:

    x = 1 + a
    y = -1
    z = 1 - 3a

from the vector equation, but then what? I'm thinking maybe x - 1 = (1 - z)/3, but what about y?

You can't write a single equation for a line in three dimensions, you have to stick with the parametrized version

x - 1 = (1 - z)/3
y = -1

boom.

If you look at ANY of the fucking results on the first page (at least) of that Google search, you'll find a decent enough answer, you fucking retards. Fucking rage sage.

Don't change these.
