    This is a homework problem, yes, but I'm only asking because it isn't documented in the book, I can't find it using google, and the only thing that confuses me about it is the wording.

    Define ln(0.75) in terms of ln(2) and ln(3). The answer is ln3 - 2ln2, but I can't determine how to arrive at that answer. Any help is so fucking appreciated.

Remember that logs are exponents.

ln(3/4) = ln(3) - ln(4)

= ln(3) - ln(2^2)

= ln(3) - 2ln(2
