The Abrahamic religions all (as far as I know) describe gods that contradict the evidence we have. Was a loving, all-powerful god in control of the nazi regime, Genghis Khan's genocide, and the boxing-day tsunamis?

Okay, just so you know, faith in my judgment is not a replacement for understanding the universe. I made everything complex because I want you to examine it.  Do you think the angels are enough to keep me company?  No, because they're limited.  They're like children that can throw mountains. Humans(IE: YOU), are capable of wanting to understand the universe. Everything I create is merely able of interacting with my creation. Humans develop, they change. You discover things, some that work, some that don't, and you amaze me constantly with what you discover ways of perceiving. I never expected that you would see the E8 diagram before discovering quantum mechanics.
