well i just read a book about physics and the universe written by a black guy and my cousins GF is a black math teacher, so there are some holes in your opinion. The book is death by black hole. and yes i see the irony in the title as it pertains to this thread.

Yeah, there's this black guy who's the head of the physics department of the University of Maryland or something; I forget his name. He's apparently important enough to be included in that NOVA special on string theory. I think his specialty is in particle physics, which is included in high energy theory.
