Logic texts

Could someone reccommend a good text on introductory mathematical logic for independent reading?  I want something that builds everything up from scratch & eventually gets to Godel's theorems.  I am already familiar with rudimentary real analysis & set theory, if that helps.

Just read Nagel & Newman's Gödel's Proof. It doesn't require a whole lot of background.

Thank you, but I was hoping for a little more than just an overview of that one proof, although I realize it will probably be the highlight of any such text.
