need help solving for x

I can't solve this equation, can anyone point me in the right way?

[ x! / 5!(5-x)! ] * 1/32 = 1/100
  
Solve for x.

It's undefined for x < 0, x > 5, and any non-integer x. I don't know about general solutions, but this makes it pretty feasible to just go through them all.

Are you sure it's not [x! / 5!(x-5)!]?  It seems awefully like x choose 5.

x!/(5-x)! = 192/5 = 38.4
x should be quite close to 4.25

I'm assuming M$ calc correctly computes the factorial [gamma function]; .5! = sqrt(pi)/2
