So I'm teaching myself trigonometry when I came across a problem I don't quite understand, could anyone clarify this, perhaps give me a step by step solution? If sin a = 3/4 and cos b = 2/3, then tan a + cot b = ?

step 1) 1.83

How do you go about getting that answer though, I'm assuming an identity needs to be utilized, but which?

sin(a) = opp. / hyp. = 3/4
Therefore opposite length = 3, hypotenuse length = 4
That means adjacent side length = sqrt(7)
Therefore tan(a) = 3/sqrt(7)
YOu can also do x = (y + z)s+n; where x is U, y is your education level, z is your vocabulary; s is STFU, and n is GTFO.
Now, if Trigonometry = x; and 4chan.org = y; thread = z then,
S = y-(x+z)
S = SAGE

Fuck off anonymous, this is the science board not the troll board. Now gtfo back to /b/ where your shitface-faggotry belongs.
I'd much rather smuther my shitty-ass faggotry all over your faces and see what response you monk-e's can do. OOO-OOH-OOH; HAA-HAAA-HAA-HAA.
