You often like to posit that the reason for your not using tripcodes, is that anyone of a reasonable firmness of mind can distinguish the "real" you because of the intelligence, wit and "wow" factor contained in every one of your posts.

I ask this: why use a name at all? The main advantage to anonymity is that every post is judged by its content, not its poster. You might argue that you are attempting to gain a reputation of excellence in posting, in which case you should really look around you and find some other faggy forum to spread your AIDS, since the only person who doesn't think you're an idiot is 4tran, who just wants some nookie.

I do accept it as a benefit, but I clearly pointed out that it's something you are evidently not acheiving. All I want is the reason for your using a name, there's no need to get defensive and assume that I'm trying to insult or outwit you. If "a reputation of excellence in posting" is your reasoning, contrary to the overarching opinion on this board, then I'm fine accepting that your egotism outweighs your desire for your posts to be red non-judgementally.
