Mass and Gravity

The moon's mass is only 0.0123 Earth's but the moon's gravity is 1/6th Earth's.

Why is this?

The moon is made of FAIL, therefore, less gravity.

wiki universal law of gravitation and there you go.

Moon:
Mass - 7.3 * 10^22 kg
Radius - 1.73 * 10^6 m

Mass / (radius)^2 = 2.43 * 10^10

Earth:
Mass - 5.97 * 10^24
Radius - 6.37 * 10^6

Mass / (radius)^2 = 1.47 * 10^11

2.43 * 10^10 / 1.47 * 10^11 = 0.165

1/6 = 0.166

Newton's theory does not fully explain the precession of the perihelion of the orbits of the planets, especially of planet Mercury. There is a 43 arcsecond per century discrepancy between the Newtonian prediction, which arises only from the gravitational tugs of the other planets, and the observed precession.

My God, relativity may play a part in the orbit of Mercury? Good thing it's totally relevant to the topic at hand!
