I'm perfectly happy to meet people with mental issues halfway as long as they don't take their problems and make them mine without any effort on their own part, like all of the self-diagnosed jackasses I have to deal with at work every day. Just because you have fucked up neurology doesn't make you some sort of special/superior subspecies of human being, it just makes you a damaged human being whose particular pathology allows them to do some party tricks.
