How come that while the equations used to calculate relativistic effects says that the time difference as i approach the event horizon of a black runs towards infinity and my lenght approaches nonexistence. We still insist that a body falling towards a black hole will actually pass the event horizon and fall beyond this magic point of no return into a fucked up geometry that as i see it might well be pulled out of some grand physicians hairy ass?

This is false. It's as you approach the singularity itself.
All of the actual fuckuppery with infinities happens well inside the event horizon. That's kind of the point.
