Japanese scientists, having thus far spent many years killing thousands of whales for scientific research, are very confident in determining that whales are indeed delicious. Proving the deliciousness of whales has long been a goal of Japanese scientists, and only through the killing and eating of many whales has the goal been within reach. The scientists temper their optimism, however: having proved the deliciousness of whales does not mean that their work will be over. It will take more years and more killed whales to determine just how delicious these whales are.
