1.    A biologist studies the inheritance of plumage in species of ducks and found the pattern to reflect incomplete dominance in the population of 15 ducks covered in the F2 generation. 2 were brown, 12 were tan and 1 was white.  How many degrees of freedom exist?  Calculate X2 .  Accept or reject null hypothesis.  Do you think this is an accurate representation of inheritance? Why or why not? What could make this study more accurate?

how would I get the degrees of freedom? its phenotype -1 amirite?

how would i go about getting the #observed and the #expected so i can calculate X2?

Well assuming the F0 cross is BB X bb
and the F1 cross is therfore Bb X Bb

You would expect BB:Bb:bb = Brown:Tan:White in 1/4:1/2:1/4

Degrees of freedom is 2.  Yes u r rite.
Expected is 15/4 : 15/2 : 15/4

I also haet genetics.

Ah I see...also, this isnt an accrate representation b/c there are only 15 ducks being observed rite?

Don't change these.
