Let's debunk all these OLD carny tricks one by one, shall we?... Newspaper fire: see the red glow? This is a chemical reaction. It's potassium permanganate (KMnO4) crystals mixed with glycerin (glycerol) (C3H8O3). Take it from a chemist. This trick has been done for hundreds of years... Why are these frauds ONLY capable of tricks EASILY replicated by magicians?

The permanganate, can be obtained at any store selling water-purifying supplies. The glycerin -- a harmless, thick, clear, syrupy liquid, is found at any pharmacy.

As for the electricity, there are old magic books that show how the electricity trick is very easy to do. Indian fakirs do it all the time. You ground yourself and allow a current to flow through you. When someone touches you, you unground and they get the shock. It's simple and easy, and common trickery.  Why doesn't it work when he's lying on his back? Because he CAN'T do his trick while laying on his back.

The "chi" that he is shocking everybody with is not some super natural power,it's electricity,produced with a device you can buy which is hidden in the sole of a shoe. Notice how even when he is basically naked he is still wearing shoes on his feet,actually sandles with oddly thick soles. a Google of "electric touch" should bring up sites you can buy it off of.

The bullet catch would also be easy to fake. Just put a blank in the gun and have a used bullet craftily hidden between your fingers like magicians do with coins to make them appear. Have the volunteer pull the trigger and reveal the bullet. Just be sure there's not another live bullet after the blank... You might get a mischievous volunteer who pulls the trigger twice.

It looks like a BB air gun. The pellet is either in his hand already, or in the end of the gun where only air would push it into his hand. Watch the video, it's obvious something fishy is going on.

I once came across a true master that had a lot of “metaphysical” abilities. Basically he was teaching something called MeowTong Qigong. It was a closed-door secret linage of Qigong. He took you in for a session and treated your meridians like acupuncture. But, instead of using needles he sent Qi energy through his fingers. I thought this was amazing. There are all kinds of tricks you can do such as getting things to stick to your hands etc etc..
