lim(x)  (3x^3+x^2-4)/(x^2-1)    x    lim(x)  (x-3)/((x^2-1)^.5 -2)
x -> 1                               x -> 3

Question is: are the product of limits < 0 ?

I say no because in the second part, as x -> 3 the limit is 0
(?)0 < 0
0 < 0
No.

Or am I doing it wrong? :X

Or would you just say

lim(x) as x->1 (numbers)
