I need help with some things from my anatomy class that I didn't get when I missed class and lost a week's worth of notes for my science classes. I have a list of questions that will be on the test on monday but I can't find the answers anywhere in my book; the teacher likes to add a lot of stuff.
tl;dr: I NEED HALP!
So here are my questions:
- What are the horizontal canals that carry blood from the periosteum in the osteons called?
- What are the horizontal canals between lacunae called?
- What are the rings of bone matrix in an osteon?
- Which lamellae layers are perpendicular?
- Smooth, nearly-flat articular surfaces are
-  A narrow ridge of bone, usually prominent
- An armlike bar of bone
- A narrow, slit-like opening
- A raised area on or above a condoyle
- A very large, blunt, irregular process
- A bony expansion carried on a narrow neck.
