Can science replace god?

When will science become a religion so we can fight silly wars FOR SCIENCE instead of god?

There are plenty of ways to delude yourself in order to justify unjust actions. Religion is an easy one, but not nearly the only one, and nowhere near the fundamental cause of what so many people say is at the fault of religion.
