A guy I know bragged about his fancy new flashlight. It emits a visible green light and apparently is very harmful if projected at the eyes. I lean towards believing that as I saw him light up a match with the light. Visible light shouldn't do anything by itself by my understanding but what's the deal with it's other effects? Some form of UVC light? Microwaves? I know the US military has some sort of device for riot dispersal that uses microwaves (IIRC) and it is quite big, it takes a truck to mount it... Might it be some sort of derivative of it?
