Human Race's De Evolution

The human race is realy going down the shit hole. To thrive as a fucking race we usualy breed with only the fittest to survive. Yet we all produce mentaly retarded kids and people with severe disabilities and inadequet mutations in out DNA which will be passed on to there kids.

Eventualy all that shit will spread (slowley but it'll still happen) So what does that mean? Evolution doesn't apply to humans? Genetic engineering plox?

Am i wrong? Please tell me i am because if my theory is wrong then we're all doomed for a very slow and bloody death as a society.

On average, human DNA will keep getting crappier, but self selective groups such as the wealthy and academic types will continue to evolve.  Eventually there will be a noticeable genetic difference between the uneducated working class, and the educated middle class, since genetic crap will lead to reduced productivity and beneficial genetics leads to increased productivity; also, we can assume that breeding within the same class will be more common than breeding between classes.

Evolution still works for humans if you consider poverty to be analogous to death (see social darwinism)

Of course, genetic engineering will revolutionize evolution before it has any real impact.

What does this mean?  Do you mean physical fitness, mental fitness, pathogen-resistance?  Or are you alluding to social conditions: overpopulation, standard of education...

I don't know where people get off saying that "ppl are getting dumber," because in my opinion, our biological capacity for genius hasn't changed.  There was Euclid, some arab guy, Newton, Einstein, and you can pick a contemporary genius.  All were revolutionary thinkers in their times, the only difference being the amount of starting material they were given.

True, but with the advent of genetic counselling, parents do have the option to screen for harmful conditions, so provided they take the effort to do so, the developed nations can take measures to lower severe genetic diseases.

No, it won't.  It's not a cancer.  There is a discrete probability of acquiring such a mutation, and over the long term it will be selected against because the mentally incompetent (generally) don't have children.

Devolution doesn't make any sense. It's not even wrong, it doesn't mean anything. Natural Selection is the adaption to the current environment. There are no 'strong' or 'weak' genes, there are genetic traits that are suited (or not suited) for a given environment.
