Four Dimensional Warping?

Name: Anonymous 2007-04-18 0:57 ID:sYObrkfh

If a three dimensional object warps a two dimensional plane on three axes, does a three dimensional object warp a 3-manifold on four axes? If not, does a two dimensional object warp a two dimensional plane on three axes? Two?

It's not a hard question!

what the fuck is warping?

its not a hard question my ass what the fuck are you talking about ... draw a diagram or some shit

What is a 3-manifold? I hope that 4th axis is the time it takes for the plane to be warped. How would a two dimensional object warp a 2 dimensional plane? What the fuck even is warping? Is there stretching and squishing involved along the parts where whit would make creases and folds and shit? Or is that wrapping?

If a 3 dimensional object warps a plane on three axes the only way you could have a 4th is for time, and I imagine warping shit is a process so it would warrant the necessity for including time. So it takes four fucking axes if you're not just showing the end result. Unless you want to say here that warping is instantaneous, which then it only takes three because the shit is only happening on 3 dimensions, same thing with 2d object on a plane, unless you want to keep everything flat. I guess it could be done on just two dimensions but it would probably look stupid.

Ok.
Matter curves spacetime.
A line is a one dimensional manifold.
A plane is a two dimensional manifold.
Three dimensional objects curve planes in three dimensions.
