You actually can get to say Alpha Centauri in around an hour. It just seems like it takes 4 years from the perspective of people on Earth. Sweet.

you just have to find a way to accelerate yourself to 99.99999% the speed of light. but at that point the energy you put into it using E=MC^2 turns into mass so it takes even more energy to make you go faster. so your pritty much screwed

that's why you have to convert yourself into photons, as anonymous pointed out, CBS has no reason to be involved. Kapeesh?

Would that mean photons take zero time from their own perspective? That's even faster than an hour.

That's just an engineering problem. That it is actually possible to go light years in a second without time paradox is what is awesome.

From a photon's perspective, it gets created and immediately destroyed. Photon's don't really have perspectives though.

So photons don't exist except to the observer of them. That's pretty fucked up.

IF A PHOTON DETERIORATES OUTSIDE OF YOUR TIME CONE, DOES IT MAKE A SOUND?
