I still can't believe that Christians don't believe dinosaurs never existed.

We have proof, yet they still disregard the facts.
There's no proof that there's heaven nor hell, yet they still preach about it's existance.

I, for one, don't believe these assholes get paid to do this shit!

Most people don't believe dinosaurs never existed, in the same way that most people don't think that a double negative doesn't lead to a positive.

With a name like mine, I'm bound to fuck up, okay?
I'm not perfect. Not Christian.

So, again, I say: they dont believe dinosaurs existed.

There. All is well.

Learn to at least talk about the subject, you piece of shit. Anyone can say "oh hey, you forgot to spell correctly" or "hey, you made the sentence stupid".

Don't be an asshole, asshole.

You know, I forgot to mention this, now that you mentioned that other thing...

Our english teacher was telling us that two negatives lead to a positive, but went on to address that no two positives make a negative. Suddenly, someone from the back replies

"Yeah...right".

you're a terrible troll.

I never knew there was a rating system for trolling, but okay. I accept your "insult" if that's what it's supposed to be.

That has nothing to do with the topic, either, fuck-hole. Get with it, seriously.

not all Christians deny the existence of dinosaurs, in fact, i have never met one who doesn't believe in them.

this is a science thread and so religion has no place here, we know dinos existed so who cares what they think when most people of science couldnt give a crap about what relious people think

pro tip, lots of scientists are religious.

Also pro tip: Science IS a religion.

People don't like to think of it that way, but science shares all epistemological characteristics of a religion.  When you get down to the very basic foundation of science, there IS a point where you have to make a leap of faith about the reality of your empirical observations.  Empiricism is no more logically sound than belief in God.  It just happens to be a belief more people share in the world today.

Just because you can't prove science is correct or whatever you're after, doesn't mean it isn't more logically sound than religion. In fact, it can be argued that science is the correct 'software' for the brain, since it allows it to make better predictions about the environment, and predicting is what brains have evolved to do.

The difference between science and religion is this: Science admits the possibility that it is wrong. If, tomorrow, gravity started working differently, scientists wouldn't simply ignore it and continue believing the current theory. On the other hand, whenever evidence is found that a statement made in a holy book is false, the people of that religion close their eyes and cover their ears and keep on believing, insisting that any such evidence is just a test from god.

evidence is merely evident, it proves nothing if a few years down the track there is a revision. The whole point of sticking to your guns is that it's right, even if the trend is against you. If everybody believed every popular idea that came out of science, well, i'd lol.
and way to generalise about religious ppl

You know absolutely nothing about science. There is no "sticking to your guns" because if gravity starts working differently tomorrow, the theory is PROVEN INCORRECT. I said absolutely nothing about evidence being found which supports a "popular [new] idea" because - as you yourself said - people are hesitant to jump in on just a bit of short-term evidence. Honestly, did you even read my post? Fucking illiterate.
