y = ax^n is a curve.
Is there a function to find the gradient on any point of this line?

The curve y = ax^n is the same as the level set y - ax^n = 0. The gradient of that is, of course, [-n*ax^(n-1), 1].

If a and n are constants...
Why not basic calculus?

y' = nax^(n-1)??

I think you're just looking for a derivative; gradient is generally only for functions of multiple variables.
Don't change these.
