We've only just evolved the brainpower to construct civilisation and this is possibly the first time life on earth has had to learn complex mathematics and logic. We are pretty stupid, we are distracted by 100s of things every day that prevent us from thinking things through totally and often cause us to follow pointless fallacious lines of thought and we have poor memories.
How far could intelligence go? Is intelligence just a sum of the amount of facts you can take into account when looking for patterns and how quickly and to what level of complexity you can apply methods of thought to solve problems? Or is there more to it than that?
