Loose Change & Chemistry Teachers

So, you've all heard of the video Loose Change and such contrite 9/11 conspiracy 'theories,' (I'm loathe to call them 'theories,' giving them some sort of scientific repute) right? Well, if you haven't: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7866929448192753501&q=loose+change

Essentially, the video fails to provide sufficient motivation, uses poor documentary techniques, and pushes forth unsound evidence. I don't need to take the time to make a point-by-point rebuttal of the video (and other theories), because these guys have already done it:

...anyway, the unfortunate thing is that there are thousands of people who fall into the creepy music, sarcastic narration, and cleverly slanted quotes. But that's to be expected.

What isn't expected is that your -chemistry- teacher shows this to classes of easily-influenced high schoolers. Mr. Goggles, as I'll call him, just showed it to us before we left for a two week break. Now, I'm figuring he didn't know what to teach, and he decided instead to further his dubious political views on us. The funny thing is, he started off saying his take on the video didn't matter - and then by the end, he was making fun of Bush, saying that people who supported the war had to go fight in it, that we had to be freaked out by the video, etc.

I gave him a (slightly longer) list of links debunking it, alongside some of my own written critiques. Unfortunately, he'll probably just think I was truly 'freaked out' by it and am just being silly.

Any similar incidents happen to any of you? ...Discuss, if you feel like it.

I think it's funny this vid got subtitled in Corean.  Oh, Coreans, you're so uncool.

Well, I overheard some guy in the local town college who might have been an instructor, not sure, talking about this 911 stuff from a video he downloaded when what he thought he downloaded was a couple of Smallville episodes.  The guy he was talking to was pretty polite about it, but I wonder if he was thinking, "oh god stop this horseshit".

Bush is a dick, but jeeze we don't need make up horseshit.
