This isn't my homework, it's a question

Hypotnous = H
Adjacent = Ha
Opposite =Ho

H = 15
Ho = 4
Ha = 6

What is the Theta? - How do I find the theta from the tiny number I get when I do the cosign\sin shit?

For added pleasure. How do I do reverse sin\cos\tangent- a.k.a Arc sin\cos\tan

THANKS TO YOU. Physics 2053

p.s i realize how retarded I am.

H=5
Ha=4
Ho=3

Sorry, mixed that up. i'm tired. I just need an explination on how the fuck to get theta, and how to get H\ha\ho from reverse cos\tan\etc

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 17:30

theta is the angle?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 17:32

Hypotnous = H
Adjacent = A
Opposite =O

O/H = Sin theta
A/H = Cos theta
O/A = Tan theta

I learnt this when I was 13 I think.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 17:34

H=5
A=4
O=3

3/5 = 0.6 = Sin theta

sin^-1 0.6 = theta = I can't find the button on MS calculator..

Anyway everyone knows it's 30 degrees.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 17:38

Aah wtf...

sin 30 = 0.5

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 17:41

(sin^-1) 3/5 = 36.87

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-09 19:37

Theta sounds like boob when read in Spanish lol lol

okay...so we have the right answer after seven posts.
why is this elementary maths even here????

is a raging faggot who cares.

>>7
how do you get that?

I know the sin of fucking theta is h/o etc. that gives me a tiny fraction, how the fuck do i make it into a degree?

well on my calculator there is a sin BUTAN and above it written in yellow is sin^-1, this means if i press shift then sin it puts upon the calculator

sin^-1 on the screen, I then put the number I want to sin^-1 and press enter and out pops the answer in degrees, or radians, whichever setting you have

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-10 2:02

>>12
i use abacus

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-10 2:13

>>13
find out how to calculate sine yourself and do it all on paper then

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-10 7:22

>>13

lol.

>>11
is your calc set in RADIANSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-10 7:24

sin x = sum{ n=0->inf, (-1)^n [ x^(2n+1) ]/[ (2n+1)! ] }

x is in radians and the rest is arithmetic lol.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 5:27

>>16
n is in radians, x is in decimals, sin is done using gradients

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 5:48

>>17
Major fail.  n is an element of the naturals, {x ∈ reals : -∞<x<∞} and the value of sin(x) is expressed in radians.

TROLL LOLZ..

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 6:52

>>17
What the fuck?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 10:20

>>18

value of sin x is NOT expressed in radians you retard. Its just a number.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 21:13

>>21
You are expressed in degrees.

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-13 22:34

SPOILER: a value expressed in radians is dimensionless and 'just a number'

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-14 5:39

>>21

srsly wtf? POINT OF INFORMATION?

Name: Anonymous 2006-09-14 6:42

Spoiler: A number expressed in radians is dimensionless and 'just a value'.
