I was wondering if someone could explain polynomials or post a good link where I can learn about them.

The following are examples of polynomials (of x):
x^2+x+1
5
x+4
x^5+2*x^2+2
Basically it's powers of a variable, each having their own coefficients (numbers they're being multiplied by).
