Whenever someone gives birth to some horribly deformed child (Such as toxic-chan, the girl who was missing about 60% of her skull or something) why do the parents/relatives insist that they're "beautiful" or a "gift from god" or something equally retarded and ironic?
They aren't beautiful, nor would anyone in their right mind consider them a gift of some sort. If a horribly disfigured baby was a gift, then why isn't cancer a gift? Or suffering severe head trauma and becoming a vegatable, or other things that most people would consider to be bad?
It's even more ridiculous when they claim their child to be a gift from god, because their child is never going to live a normal life. Depending on how messed up they are, they may be both mentally and physically handicapped. Toxic-chan cost her parents over 3 million dollars in medical bills, and she can't even breathe or eat properly. She's almost deaf too. I wouldn't be surprised from the shape of her head if she was mentally handicapepd also, and at least partially blind. And she's just nasty to look at. She's never going to live a normal life.

When in their heads they're thinking "jesus christ it's disgusting why must it exist oh god why oh why is it alive why would they let it live oh my god its looking at me what kind of parent would let that thing live holy shit I might throw up" Although it might not be a giant run-on sentance for some people, that's probably what most people are thinking.
And then there's the self rightious asses who try to say shit like "NO SHE'S BEAUTIFUL BCUZ BEUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDR LOL" That may be, but that doesn't justify the fucked up, bad tastes some people have. That's the exact same argument peolpe use to defend other disgusting things, like scat fetishes for instance.
