Is gayness genetic? Suppose you have two gay parents. Does i mean you are gay?

It might have something to do with hormonal imbalance during pregnancy which is genetic since everyone has the genes to become gay due to hormonal imablance during pregnancy, but it is not a genetic disorder. Possibly some women are more prone to having hormonal imbalance during pregnancy due to a genetic abnormality.

No.

False. Hormonal imbalance produces transsexuals and they aren't exactly gays.

How? If both of your gay parents are male then WTF!

But if both of your gay parents are female, I seriously doubt either of them would've passed any gay gene.

AFAIK there's no such thing as a gay gene.

How so? They're basically WOMEN in wrong body. Maybe you're thinking of transvestites? To them it's just fetish and surprisingly most are straight. Gays however are MEN who love MEN. Most gays tend to have quite negative views of women. There is also one very very odd thing in gay society. Masculine gays prefer masculine partners and feminine gays prefer feminine partners. That can't be hormone related. If feminine gays were truly more like women they would prefer manly gays as partners. Other notable thing is that HUGE majority of gays aren't more feminine nor masculine than average hetero men. Doesn't sound genetic.

Mmm... what about if the hormonal balance is somewhere in between... some parts of the hardwireing goes the female way(finding males attractive) and some other parts go the male way... and overall, the body ends up being male.

There could be. However, it could be that in most cases it will not manifest itself, but if the right combination of "gay genes" ends up in an individual they are expressed. That way, they would be albe to hang around in the gene pool while not making people gay most of the time(heck, they might even carry some other useful functions individually) but every once in a while they do. That's a small price to pay if these genes carry other useful stuff with them... or just hang around the gene pool doing nothing.

Thing is that attraction to anything doesn't seem to be hardwired.   Infact everything that comes in mind suggest that's it might be entirely cultural. What is considered hot and beautiful is different in every culture and it changes often. It's not likely race related either, because even non-racially "pure" people express sexual characterics of culture they were born to.

So why are gay men who are surrounded by pornography etc etc.. only every attracted to other men no matter what?

It is also race related as the AIDs rate in the black race irrefutably proves.

Cause that attraction is developed in childhood and is prettymuch fixed.
