By population, european-caucasians, mainly eastern european slavs and jews, have the highest proportion of ground-breaking scientists. Most asian countries have a strong emphasis on science, education and easily have the ability to push the boundaries of science.

I'm not saying asians are incapable of making scientific progress, it is just that only a small percentage of a population have the ability to do so and a slight change in genetics can have a drastic effect on the amount of a population capable of performing a certain task and that it is apprent that asians cannot compete with whites.
