I am starting a new branch of mathematics called inverse decimal representation.

As >>9,10, I'd like to say that I fail for not properly researching this or thinking it through. If you accept infinitesimals, 1 - 0.999... != 0. Writing the result as 0.000...1 probably still classifies as abuse of notation, though.
