its never a good idea to add water to acid due to the heat released from the reaction. On one hand you have really cold water and on the other you have an exergonic process. Whichever is larger predominates I suppose.

depends on the acid
the acidity may corrode the ice makeing it melt faster.
eather way it will melt because of temperatures.
