Oooh for once someone alludes to the true goal of mankind on this board, not to mention an actual truth.

Evolution created god, who being omnipotent went back in time and created evolution.

No, this is the fake and incorrect goal aka the goal the general mass chases in this day and age and since mankind's incarnation. In quite fact it is the view that this is the goal that prevents us from getting anywhere near reaching the true goal.

True goal is nothing but happiness, and nothing makes you happier than a good fuck.

There is no 'goal', as such. If anything, you could say that the universe seems to be about creating increasingly higher complexity; our part in that is probably just to create true AI.
OMG SINGULARITY

Life.cpp line 2006: Man.goal()
Undefined call to Man::goal()

Does not compute. Life#goal inherits from Mankind#goal.

Maybe you didn't understand what I meant? What I actually meant was that having fun, finding true love, and making things better for our kids are all totally retarded goals.

Well then, go practice christian sadomasochism

Mmm, sadomasochism...
I like it, you can whip yourself and pretend it's all for Jesus or your sins or shit like that. That's the only reason I'm still Catholic.

sadomasochism is archaic and doesnt reflect the philosophys of the chatholic church.

All mass and energy had to come from somewhere. If some people think that it was god than good for them. Same goes for jesus christ, its a matter of personal beleif. Neither god nor jesus christ conflicts with the theory of evolution. Read Arthour C Clarke's Rama series. It might learn you some about religious tolerance.

God had to come from somewhere. So that doesn't answer anything. Or, if God could just always have existed, then so could 'all mass and energy'.
Also, rational people might be more tolerant of religion, if religious people weren't so anti-freedom, anti-science, anti-etc.

>>27 I aggree that religious people suck, but its not because they are religious. People can use any cause as a rallying point. When it comes to mass and energy, i dont care. All that I beleave is that god influenced us somewhere to make us sentient, perhaps this universe is within another existance thats only for gods, i dont really care.

No shit we don't understand it. It's still questionable that the complexity of our brain can understand the complexity of our brain.
However, a universal Turing machine can emulate a Turing machine, so there's still hope.

>>29 LIghtning exists, therefore if god made matter at some point than god made lightning. There is no way to understand where everythign came from on a universal scale. I know there is no evidence to support god, and there is a precident for man's need for false religion, but is it any of your buissness to tell me im wrong.
