Lightheadedness from smoking?

I smoke (tobacco). good chance i'll get cancer or some other disease down the line. I get it. so yeah, keep that out of this thread :D

when I smoke, even a little, I feel it very intensely. smoking even a cigarette normally makes me feel dizzy and strange, similar to say the feeling of sitting for a long time, standing, and then feeling faint/lightheaded (I love the feeling, its pretty much the only reason I do smoke, besides that whole "addiction" thing). any of my friends who smoke who I've asked don't really get anything similar.

my question is, is this normal? do some people just get very intense reactions to tobacco smoke/nicotine/whatever? or could this be a sign of some more immediate/serious health problem?

This is likely due to a decreased flow of oxygen, a direct result from inhaling previously rapidly-oxidized air.

Out of all the shit a cancer stick has, nicotine is the less damaging one (although it is a drug). In fact, these "light" cigars with less nicotine are actually much worse since you need to consume more cancer sticks to cover your daily level of nicotine according to your drug addiction.

The other stuff tobacco contains will kill you, then I will walk over your grave smiling. While you are being slowly killed, your teeth get yellow and orcish, you smell of shit, your face looks like you're not only a moron but an ugly and tired moron, your blood turns to red cum, and your lungs look like scat, among other effects.

#5 reply is very educated.  You should be lucky to have someone help you out like that.  As an ex-smoker, I think you are feeling the effects of being new to the drug.  My first cigarette almost had me fall to the floor.  As you get used to the drug, it will become increasingly pointless.
