I'm doing a report on famous american mathematicians but I can't think of any. There are lots of german, british, french, polish , other european mathematicians though. HELP!!
You have x STR and a weapon attack rate of y; the enemy has z DEF and a total defense rate of a; you role dise and happen to attack; he roles dise and happens to not block; you deal min(1, x + y - z - a) damage.

You want a report on famous American mathematicians? Show the movie "A Brilliant Mind". Problem solved!

He's one of the founders of modern computer science. I would have suggested other more famous examples such as Turing or Von Neumann, but they are all foreign born. You can also look up Quine; he's more of a philosopher/logician but can pass as a mathematician (as a logician).

He invented recursion theory, which is a major topic in mathematics. And how famous can a mathematician get anyway?
