I'd say Philosophy (yes, there are parts of it that are scientific), namely cognitive science and epistemology. I'd argue that a high number of philosophers I consider brilliant are scientists as well, or very scientific both in mind and in method, whereas a lot of the crap out there is generally also not very scientifically rigorous.
My second choice would be physics though, because Feynman was a fine man, as well as one freaking wicked motherfucker.

Uh, philosophy is not a science. It has to do with the fact that science is an empirical study that is based on collecting inductive evidence in support of theories, whereas it doesn't even make sense to talk about "evidence" for "theories" in philosophy.
How is epistemology a science? By definition it can't possibly be, because it's the study of how things are knowable. Science first assumes that things ARE reliably knowable, so if you say epistemology is a science that's like saying it's a discipline that assumes that what it's trying to establish is true.
And I think you've confused the study of the foundations of cognitive science with the discipline of cognitive science itself. Nobody in that field goes around doing experiments trying to prove that there is such a thing as a cognitive process and not everything is based on behavior. That work is for the philosophy of mind people (which again, are not scientists because of the non-scientific nature of their study). Cognitive science assumes cognition, and tries to describe it via empiricism.
Lastly, I wouldn't say any philosophers are scientifically minded. They may be logically rigorous, i.e. almost all philosophers in the analytic tradition, but none of them go around employing the scientific method.
You, sir, are a pseudo-intellectual.
