Um, because we originally took it from you, and have now simplified the syntax and changed a few expressions along the way, thus creating a more modern strand of your language which you have chosen not to abide by out of nationalism (and due to the fact that we kicked your ass). It's sorta like wanting to stick to latin when everyone else is speaking italian. Get with the times, or at least stop bitching when we do it our way.
