The whole "oh the jew population still went up" is just a myth because people either:
1. Didn't bother looking up facts.
2. Used a poor source of information.

If you look at the World Almanac you can find exactly how many jews there were in the census before (16,643,120) and after (11,266,600) the war.

But hey, people shouldn't be put in jail for that sort of thing. People should be open to examine any theory as much as they want until they give up or find evidence to disprove it.
