which way do you whipe your ass?

This caused a heated discussion today and I was wondering which way does everone whipe, front to back or back to front?

When I sit down to take care of busniess I try to pull my ass-cheeks apart and then sit down, so that they stay apart. This keeps poop from getting too rubbed into skin.

Also, I whipe from front to back when I remember it - cos mom said so. When I don't remember I do the opposite.
