global warming

is there any way to fix global warming?  by siphoning off thermal energy into space?

or to repair the ozone layers for that matter?

No.  And besides, whatever solution you *did* come up with would require a lot of verification to ensure that it's not worse than the problem.

Just resign yourself to having more energy in the planetary system.  It's not impossible (or even strictly unlikely) that "global warming" is a phenomenon rooted in causes that existed long prior to man's dominance of the planetary surface.

what we need to do is find some way to take all this excess thermal energy, and use it to reform all that oil that we've been burning for the last x decades.  that'll solve two problems right there.

It sure is a shame that entropy exists.

If we kill all the animals the earth will be cooler by a bit

I absolutely agree about that point.  -O.P.

According to studies of current applications of technology, no. So even if we wanted to, we couldn't.

I agree. Even if it won't fix weather, it'll be worth doing for a number of reasons.

Name: Anonymous 2005-10-30 10:02

Global Warming is good. Better weather, more crops. The golden ages of civilisation throughout history have coincided with warm weather. Or perhaps not a coincidence.

This thread is pointless, since everyone knows the Jews control the weather.

tl;dr

No real threat.  Volcanos produce more problems than any amount of pollution humans produce.  It works itself out naturally.
