Geometry...

what was easier for you? Geometry or Algebra? i am in geometry right now but it doesn't seem quite as hard as algebra; then i went back and did a algebra review and it was harder but i had so much fun doing it; everything came together and linked and i felt good at myself because i knew how to do it; i really can't decide which class was easier

Geometry IS more intuitive.  Even though I'm a math major now, and I had a bitchy Algebra teacher in HS, for a time, I would say to my classmates that I much preferred geometry to algebra.  So I had a much easier time with geometry because even my dad, who sucked at math, was a freelance builder, and showed me some stuff when I was like six.

Advanced geometry contains very serious spatial problems (path minimalization, maybe), but some of the problems ARE more intuitive, playful, or "puzzle-like" than the serious philosophical contemplation that is analysis.  (Not that I'm at all competent with any of this stuff).  A convex hull is an interesting concept.

Geometry is linked with algebra. Outside the most basic concepts, this link is ever present and non-removable. You will (perhaps) later find that geometry is actually more closely linked with calculus. Using the basic concepts of geometry, algebraic equations describing certain shapes can be derived with calculus by mearly pluging in specific parameters over specific ranges.

GEOMETRY ISN'T QUITE AS FUN AS ALGEBRA . . . "a rigorous framework for nonperturbative quantization of diffeomorphism-invariant gauge theory" . . . LOL

Algebra pretty much describes a geometry problem or vice-versa. Geometry will be easier for you if you have good imagination and spatial capabilities, otherwise you'll like algebra better because you can more easily fight your way without really understanding it to its deepest.

CORRECT, GEOMETRY USES AN ENTIRELY DIFFERENT PART OF THE BRAIN

BALANCING AN ALGEBRA EQUATION IS A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT MENTAL PROCESS COMPARED WITH GEOMETRIC SPATIAL RECONCILIATION

PS CALCULUS IS THE STUDY OF CHANGE AND UTILIZES BOTH

FOXTROT   BY BILL AMEND

Jason : "I CAN'T HELP BUT LAUGH AT SEEING YOU ANGUISH OVER THIS GEOMETRY TEST."

Paige : "WHY'S THAT?"

Jason : "IT JUST COMES NATURALLY TO ME."

Paige : "THAT BECAUSE YOU'RE A FREAK.

I HAVE YOU KNOW MATH DOES NOT COME NATURALLY TO MOST PEOPLE."

Jason : "I MEAN LAUGHING AT YOUR PAIN COMES NATURALLY."

Paige : "LET'S TALK ABOUT REAL PAINS..."
