What are some recommended -non-shitty- *cough* 'podcasts' about Nerd things?
(I hate the 'podcast' word that only 'Geek Hipsters who don't know anything about computers' use... Real Nerds have been calling it 'Internet Radio' since 1990, in the days of 8kHz .au files.. </end_rant>)
So far, the best options have been:
** www.itconversations.com: "Open Source" -- if it wasn't for every other feed having 5 minutes of "now a word from our Sponsor.." embedded in it.
** CBC's Radio's "Quirks and Quarks"
** ABC (Australia) "The Science Show" -- albeit can be rather 'dry' when it gets on to biology (*snore*..)
Personal Plus Points: discussions assuming a college-level education, new developments and breakthroughts, Community/Open Source Software,
Minus Points: shitty music filler, commercials, TechieHipsterThisIsCOOLMustByOne, College Guys doing Podcat Parties, W.T.Snacks (o noes b&)
