It is. If ugly people still exists is because it gets to mate with equally ugly people, plus what's beautiful and what's ugly changes over centuries, and natural selection won't work in so little time.
But there's one thing that's undoubtly true: girls, almost always, only go for looks. Most of the ones who don't, still care most for looks, and money comes second.
