I don't know what part of the world you live it, but the sky here looks identical.
I suppose if you live in a smog-smothered city that's another issue.
Those photographs are an impressive feat though, even with digital postprocessing.

it's not so much the sky that's remarkable, but the land.. lush, dense forests, and wide open plains with scarcely any civilization in sight.
it's hard to find a proper equal in america today. maybe parts of the mid-west..
