HTM provides a way to guess what would happen next. If you combine HTM input with possible moves, then it will predict what actions lead to more profit, given you supply your own heuristic for calculating profitability of a predicted state. So HTM can predict a winning chess move or what assets you should buy and sell, making you richer than Steve Ballmer.
